THE DESIGN

흐름 (heureum) — flow, the movement that ties a room together. The Heureum is a twin pouf set in tufted leather with a shared solid wood base. Two upholstered drums, made as a pair, made to live together.

The architecture is intentional. Hand-tufted leather caps in your colour — saddle, walnut, deep navy, or oxblood — set above a single continuous turned-wood base that connects both poufs without visible hardware. The base in solid white oak, walnut, or blackened ash. The whole set reads as one piece rather than two coincidentally placed near each other.

Each pouf is 45–60cm in diameter and 42–48cm in height. The base length is set to match the spacing you want — 90cm for a side-by-side pair at the foot of a sofa, up to 140cm for a wider footprint along an open wall. Tufting depth, cap profile, and base diameter are reviewed before fabrication.

Their job is to read as additional seating when guests arrive — and as a quiet sculptural pair when the room is empty. A piece that serves its room without competing with it.
